Politics
It has always been important to me to stand up for my beliefs and values. I didn't want to just sit idly by and fret about what's going wrong in the world, but rather take action and make things better. That's why I've been politically active since school. It became clear to me early on: You can only make a difference where politics is made and decisions are made – and that's especially true in political parties. Therefore, I joined the FDP at the age of 17 and have been active at all levels ever since: first with the Young Liberals, culminating in deputy federal chairman (2016-2018), and now primarily with the FDP, where I am currently a member of the Bavarian state executive committee and the council of our European parent party, ALDE.
Why the FDP? I am a freedom-loving person who, at the same time, doesn't shy away from responsibility. I am convinced that everyone is the best architect of their own life and should therefore be able to lead it independently and with equal rights. This promise of freedom and equal opportunity, which places you as an individual at the center of politics, is something only liberalism can offer. One topic has always particularly preoccupied me:
Europe
As a passionate European, I am firmly convinced that we can only solve the great challenges of our time together. Not everything is perfect, but the EU is still the greatest project for peace, freedom, and prosperity in human history. However, at the latest since Brexit, which I experienced firsthand in England, and the Russian war of aggression, we must all be clear: peace, freedom, and prosperity cannot be taken for granted. As a generation that can't remember times without them, it seems hard to imagine, but these are precious assets that must be fought for anew every day.

That's why I have not only engaged with Europe academically (for example, in my dissertation) and professionally, but also ran for the European Parliament myself in 2019 and 2024 as a Young Liberal and Bavarian lead candidate.
Social Commitment
But I'm not only involved in party politics: In 2017, I founded the non-partisan initiative Pulse of Europe at my place of study, and in 2013, the project YOUROPE, in which we discussed the future of Europe with young people and for which I received funding from JoinPolitics.
Furthermore, I was an elected member of my university's Student Council from 2016 to 2018 and, in 2012, volunteered to help refugees from Ukraine. I am also a member of the European Union Germany, the Bavarian Red Cross, and Reporters Without Borders, among others.
International
As a delegate of the FDP and the Youth Youth Movement (JuLis), I have participated in numerous conferences of our international umbrella organizations as well as in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. I was also invited to the Global Young Leaders Conference in 2013 and to the Goalkeepers Conference by the Gates Foundation in 2019 and 2022, which focuses on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. I gained additional international political experience as a delegate at the Harvard World Model United Nations in 2015, the European Youth Event in 2021, the German Armed Forces' Manfred Wörner Seminar in 2023, and several participations in the Munich Security Conference.
